Derek Viscounte has credentials under his belt that almost no other home inspector in New England can match. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Rhode Island's school of History, Viscounte moved on to attain additional education in architecture and engineering.

Because of his engineering qualifications, Viscounte brings the added benefit of structural inspections- a field that virtually no other home inspector can claim, unless they do have an engineering degree. Once he returns, Viscounte will be assisting our other inspectors with offering structural inspections on buildings that may have structural issues, such as the effect of foundation cracks or aging floor joists and support beams.
